April 11, Online Event: “CO-CREATING DISASTER RESILIENCE THROUGH HERSTORIES” Commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Tohoku Triple Disaster

NPO Women’s Eye, a JCC-DRR member organization, and enjoi Diversity & Innovation are co-hosting an online event on Sunday April 11.

Through the voices of grassroots women leaders of Tohoku, we will take time to reflect upon the last 10 years so that we may look forward to imagine what we hope to see emerge in the coming 10 years in Japan.
Though there are still so many hurdles to be overcome within their own grassroots communities, as well as challenges of age and gender-based discrimination, join us in listening to the HERSTORIES of overcoming 311, of community-building and of personal growth. With this event, we aim to inspire women around the world who are following their own path in the face of different crises that women rise to overcome with tremendous leadership and courage.
